Watch Out for Stolen Goods

Club member Mick Goode has just spent four weeks in hospital recovering from major surgery only to be greeted, on his return home, by finding his house burgled. Among other things the following modelling items were taken and it would be appreciated if you are offered any of these that you ring D C Hepworth on 01274 376586.

Tiger Trainer Mk III, OS 46 (4 stroke) and Futaba 4EX radio. It is just possible that Mick’s membership clip may still be attached to the Tx aerial.

Futaba 4 channel set in gold.

Sky-sport 4YF (no crystals)

Hi-Tech Optic 6 FM QPCM

NOTE: None of the above radios will have any instructions with them.

Raptor F22 Kit ARTF in Red & White

Engines: OS 25, Saito 56 four stroke, and an Irvine 35 two stroke (all new and in boxes)

Flight box complete with all the usual bits and pieces.

What,s on and when. (and will you help)

A big thank you to all those who turned out for the Sledbrook Gala. We had a good days flying and it was much appriciated by the Dunford Parish Community Association.

Water Babies

This is directed to the select few who have model aircraft that can operate off water.
Bowshaw Whams sailing club at Hepworth; that is the lake full of small yachts that you can see from Tinkers, is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year and are having an open day on Saturday 6th September and they would like us to provide a demonstration of between half an hour to an hour during the afternoon. I have provisionally said yes because I thought it may grab the interest of our web footed members. It is also a very safe site to fly from if the models are kept over the water and in front of the club house.
I know the event is a long way off but if anyone who might be interested in a days water flying could send me their email address or telephone number I will try to keep you informed and send reminders closer to the date.

Please let me know if you think you might be able to attend one of these events and I will then try to confirm all the details.
